Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering and picking up product in a safe manner to customer sites;
  • Following all OH&S regulations and furthering the safety culture;
  • Reading and following procedures and relevant work instructions;
  • Liaising with customers of our client, with a friendly and professional attitude;
  • Accountability for all paperwork.

About the role

As a result of business growth, our Commercial team is expanding! We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Manager for our Farm Milk Collection customer base. The role is customer centric and requires frequent travel, mainly within Victoria. This exciting opportunity is full-time and will be based in either Melbourne or Geelong.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will oversee all aspects of your customer portfolio to strengthen strategic relationships and embed McColl’s in its customers’ operations. Working collaboratively with McColl’s Senior Leadership, Finance and Operations divisions, you will drive operational excellence through contributing to value-added solutions to support long-term business growth.

Joining our Commercial division, this role will entail but is not limited to:

  • Leading the growth and development of enduring customer relationships at all levels of the customer’s organisation to maximise commercial opportunities and increase market penetration.
  • Building trusting and professional relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction are maintained.
  • Achieving targets relating to the maximisation of revenue and improvements to gross margin profitability.
  • Management of the Farm Milk Collection Division’s customer contract portfolio.
  • Providing commercial analysis, reporting and support to the Commercial team on insights into the division’s financial performance, customer updates and business opportunities.
  • Supporting the General Manager – Commercial in managing all key contractual relationships with business delivery partners.

 

About you

You will be passionate about Customer Relationship Management with outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills to deliver on the McColl’s customer and business strategy.

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Strategic Account Management or a Strategic Operational role.
  • Strong commercial instincts with extensive experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex business issues and planning needs.
  • Proven ability in the negotiation and management of large customer contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
