ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the McColl’s team, to support the implementation of a new software system.

This is a full-time, 6-month fixed term contract.

The role is Geelong based, with flexible work arrangements available.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, with project management experience, to support the design and implementation of a new payroll and associated HR platform.

The role requires astute attention to detail, with an ability to understand operational requirements, to deliver a seamless systems integration. Internal testing and analysis will be critical to the system configuration, prior to implementing a successful UAT and business rollout.

Reporting to the Program Manager, this role requires stakeholder engagement and a comprehensive understanding of payroll systems and integration.

 

ABOUT YOU 

You will be an experienced Analyst with project management exposure. Your experience in complex, fast paced and ever-changing environments has enabled you to hone your communication and influencing skills to bring clarity and alignment to understand and drive ‘best practice’.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  • Business systems or technology related degree or equivalent
  • Basic certification in Project Management fundamentals or Business Analyst Fundamentals highly desirable (e.g., PMBOK, BABOK, Prince2 or PMP)
  • Business Analyst experience 5+ years
  • Joint Business Analyst / Project Management role ideally 2+ years
  • Experience in Vendor Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in business analysis, process design and process improvement
  • Experience in performing system testing and leading User Acceptance Testing.
  • Excellent consulting, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent systems knowledge and utilisation
  • Ability to present information and make recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
  • High level organization Skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and support software training.
