About the role

We are currently looking for highly motivated and safety focused Professional Linehaul and Local Drivers to join our Bulk Chemical team, based in Prestons, NSW on a full-time basis, for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering and picking up products in a safe manner to customer sites, with the ability to prioritise your workload and emphasis on conducting yourself safely and professionally at all times.
• Following all OH&S regulations and furthering the safety culture.
• Reading and following procedures and relevant work instructions.
• Liaising with customers of our client, with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Accountability for all paperwork.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Exposure to Tanker work (preferred).
• HC licence essential, MC desirable.
• DG desirable.
• SLP accreditation desirable.
• A strong focus on doing the job safely and compliantly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A strong work ethic.
• Drivers with Road Ranger experience need only apply.

About Your Opportunity

McColl’s currently has an exciting opportunity for experienced Diesel Mechanic for an immediate start! This full time position is based at our Prestons Workshop.

Hourly base rates start from $40 per hour + allownaces.

There are opportunities for career advancement and upskilling gaining additional qualifications.

About Your New Position

• Commitment to safe work practices
• Servicing Fleet equipment on mainly Kenworth and Volvos
• Minor/major repairs on our fleet of Tankers including suspension work
• Ability to work after hours breakdown roster

To be Successful You will bring:

• Current Trade/Diesel Mechanic Certificate
• Minimum 5 years experience as a qualfied mechanic
• Cummins/Volvo experience (preferred)
• Prior BPW, SAF, Hendrickson suspension experience
• Experience with EBS and previous OEM training highly regarded
• Prior experience servicing fleet equipment
• Leading Hand Experience (preferred)
• A high attention to detail with a strong focus on job safely and quality
