About the role

We are currently seeking highly motivated and safety focused Drivers to join our team on a full-time basis working night shift on a 4 on – 4 off rotational roster based in either Sydney or Melbourne with an expected commencement date of the 15th November 2021.

Adequate training will be provided to successful candidates at our Prestons depot.

The work will mainly involve change-overs between Sydney & Melbourne with both B Double & A Double combinations being utilised.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering and picking up product in a safe manner to customer sites, with the ability to prioritise your workload and focus on always conducting yourself safely and professionally.
• Following all OH&S regulations and furthering our safety culture.
• Reading and following procedures and relevant work instructions.
• Liaising with customers of our client, with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Accountability for all paperwork in both written and electronic form.

About you

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

• Minimum 2 years MC Driving experience. (A Double experience highly regarded).
• Current DG license.
• Minimum 1 year of Line-Haul experience. (DG Tanker experience highly regarded).
• Current SLP or willingness to obtain one.
• A current Driver History Report.
• Ability to work within a team environment, as well as unsupervised.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication, written and interpersonal skills.
• A strong focus on doing the job safely and compliantly with an understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Road Transport Legislation.
• A strong work ethic.
• A willingness to conduct load/unload of products on occasions.
• A willingness to run a complete leg between Sydney & Melbourne/Melbourne & Sydney on occasions.
• Ability to work 4×4 night shift roster.
