Job Information

McColl’s is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in Geelong for a 12 month contract.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Human Resources, this role is responsible for partnering with the divisional departments of our business throughout Australia to provide effective HR support.

This role will have a major focus on generalist activities such as:

  • Coordinate the end to end recruitment process – including posting advertisements, interviewing and reference checking;
  • Maintain a range of HR policies & procedures, reports and other documentation;
  • Assist with employee relation matters including providing advice, preparing documents and participating in investigations as required;
  • Ensure all payroll information is received and processed in a timely manner;
  • Other special projects as they arise in the department.

 

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years Human Resource experience in a generalist capacity;
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources;
  • Sound knowledge of Human Resources legislation and practices and ability to interpret and apply relevant legislations and awards;
  • Be an organised & efficient worker with the ability to priorities your workload with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
