About Your Opportunity

As a result of expanding business McColl’s currently has opportunities for experienced Diesel / Light Vehicle Mechanics for an immediate start on our 4 x 3 roster, based at our Altona Workshop.

Working 4 days on, 3 off gives you the opportunity to enjoy more time at home so you can achieve the ultimate work / life balance you’re looking for!

Hourly rates start from entry level $35.40 per hour to $49.97, based on experience.

There are opportunities for career advancement and upskilling gaining additional qualifications.

About Your New Position

• Flexible working arrangements
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Servicing Fleet equipment on mainly Kenworth and Volvos
• Minor / major repairs on our fleet of Tankers including suspension work
• Ability to work after hours breakdown roster

To be Successful You will bring:

• Current Trade/Diesel Mechanic Certificate OR Light Vehicle Mechanic Certificate
• Cummins/Volvo experience (preferred)
• Prior BPW, SAF, Hendrickson suspension experience
• Prior experience servicing fleet equipment
• A strong focus on doing the job safely and compliantly
