We are currently looking for a highly motivated and safety focused Operations Controller – Allocator to join our dedicated Bulk Chemical team, based in Prestons NSW on a full time basis.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for:

• Coordination and scheduling of fleet & staff movement including monitoring hours and delays;
• Allocation and coordination of customer bookings & deliveries in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with business expectations;
• Building relationships with our current customer base and ensuring a high level of service is offered;
• Out of hours on-call rotating roster;
• Monitor and manage all aspects of fatigue compliance;
• Assisting with payroll-related activities;
• Accurate management of up to date driver paperwork in accordance with legislative and business requirements.
• Assisting with the commercial process of the division when required.

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

• Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics;
• Willingness to collaborate within a motivated team;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail;
• Previous experience or understanding of COR, NHVAS, BFM and Mass Management compliance accreditation systems and regulatory requirements;
• The ability to do some short term travel, if required.
