About the role

We are currently looking for a customer focused, highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our team, on a full-time basis.

The key focus of this role is to work closely with key stakeholders as you develop progressive partnerships with clients and customers and provide future focused solutions.

This role will entail but is not limited to:

  • Managing and maintaining key business relationships, ensuring communication is coordinated and actioned by appropriate internal team members;
  • Providing analysis, reporting, monitoring and support on insights into the portfolio’s financial movements, customer updates and business opportunities to achieve fiscally sustainable outcomes;
  • Managing and monitoring daily Service Level Agreement delivery;
  • Supply chain management to deliver cost effective solutions that meet customer SLA and maximise business opportunity within portfolio;
  • Optimising product supply and demand schedule in response to customer inventory levels and direct customer orders;
  • Providing support in managing all key contractual relationships as they relate to the customer portfolio;
  • Ensuring that adequate fleet is available to support the operational needs of the customer contract;
  • Assisting in the management of resources to deliver excellence in safety & effectiveness.


About you

You will be a very passionate, highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and pride yourself on your “can- do” attitude and exceptional customer service skills.

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

  • Solid experience in a supply chain, business improvement or operational role, ideally within transport and logistics;
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex business issues and workplace planning needs;
  • Proven contract management experience, advanced negotiation and influencing strategies/skills;
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to build cross functional relationships and collaborate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • The ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously;
  • The ability to problem solve and take initiative;
  • Proven time management, planning and organisational skills;
  • A high level of computer literacy, including sound knowledge of MS Suite and ERP systems;
  • Continuous improvement mind-set delivering on measurable outcomes.
