We are currently looking for a highly motivated and safety focused Operations Controller to join our dedicated Bulk Chemical team, based in Altona, Vic on a full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for:

• Coordination and scheduling of fleet and staff movement including monitoring hours and delays.
• Allocation and coordination of customer bookings and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with business expectations.
• Building relationships with our current customer base and ensuring a high level of service is offered.
• Out of hours on-call rotating roster.
• Monitor and manage all aspects of fatigue compliance.
• Assisting with payroll-related activities.
• Accurate management of up-to-date driver paperwork in accordance with legislative and business requirements.
• Assisting with the commercial process of the division when required.

To be successful in this dynamic role you will have:

• Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics.
• Willingness to collaborate within a motivated team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Previous experience or understanding of COR, NHVAS, BFM and Mass Management compliance accreditation systems and regulatory requirements.
• The ability to do some short-term travel, if required.
